The Summer Saturday Night Classic will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 5 p.m. to midnight and anglers must have fished a minimum two regular season tournaments to qualify, or pay $100. Those who have fished a minimum of two tourneys will pay an entry fee of $55, including big fish pot. There is a one-time registration fee of $20 per person. Entry fee is $30. Regular tournaments are sponsored by Chuck's Lakeside Marine, Willoughby Ford of Thomson, Ga., Sportsman's Link of Martinez, Rick's Paint & Body of Martinez, White Columns Inn of Thomson and Augusta Marine Superstore. They will be held every Saturday from safe light until 1 p.m., until further notice out of Cherokee Ramp. Tournaments will not be held when dates conflict with Clark Hill Committee events. Anglers must fish a total of 6 tournaments to qualify for the SMOT Classic, which will pay a guaranteed $10,000 to the first-place team based on 30 boats.
