MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at the V.A. Medical Center, Mr. Jessie Curry of Forrest Drive. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2001, at Broadway Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Clarence Joyner officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. He was a native of Prescott, Ark., was a U. S. Army World War II veteran and had retired from Ford Motor Company, Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he lived for many years. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church where he served as deacon. Survivors are his wife, Jettie Curry; two daughters, Jean (Leon) Dixon, Detroit, Michigan and Katie Bridges, Ann Arbor, Mich.; three sons, James E. (Mary) Curry, Delano Dale (Susan) Curry, both of Augusta and Dwight D. (Reva) Curry, Sicklerville, N.J.; two godchildren, Fay Burton, Ann Arbor, Mich. and Alexis E. Fields, Swainsboro; two brothers, H.C. Curry, Ann Arbor, Mich. and Sylvester Curry, Chicago; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; a very special friend, Elnora Radcliff, Memphis, Tenn.; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
