Mr. Wooden, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lula Mae Curry Wooden, North Augusta; two sons, Alphonso (Nancy) Wooden, North Augusta and Lyndon Wooden, Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Beatrice (Willie) Spann and Thelma (Willie James) Curry, North Augusta; four brothers, Ned (Dorothy) Wooden, Johnny (Geneva) Wooden and John Henry (Charlise) Wooden, North Augusta and Oscar (Chiquita) Wooden, Augusta, Ga.; two aunts, Alzater Rutlin, Philadelphia, Pa. and Rosetta Sykes, North Augusta; son-in-law, Randy Benjamin, Columbia; mother-in-law, Margurite Curry, North Augusta; ten sisters-in-law, ten brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
