MOUNT JULIET, Tenn. - Mrs. Leota Green Rhodes, 100, of Mount Juliet, Tenn., formerly of Midville, Ga., entered into rest Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at Mount Juliet Health Center. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2001, at Midville Baptist Church with the Rev. M. F. Price officiating. Interment will follow in Midville City Cemetery. She was a longtime member of Midville Baptist Church, a charter member of Midville Garden Club and a lifetime member of the Garden Club of Georgia. She was currently a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Juliet. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Rhodes and three children, Jake Rhodes, Pauline Rhodes, and Rebecca Rhodes Seeger. Survivors include four grandchildren, Walt Seeger, Waynesboro, Ga., Chuck Seeger, Greensboro, N.C., Jimmy and Carter Rhodes, both of Atlanta, Ga.; a nephew, Perry Emory Green, Austin, Texas and several other nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be the Deacons of Midville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 10 until 11 a.m. DeLoach Funeral Homes, Waynesboro, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
