Mrs. Victorine Kersey



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Victorine Taylor Kersey, 59, of Augusta, Ga., entered into rest Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at the Beverly Manor Nursing Home in Augusta, Ga. Mrs. Kersey was a native of Vidalia, Ga. but had lived in Augusta since 1961. She attended Church of God of Prophecy in Augusta. Mrs. Kersey was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Kersey. Survivors include a son, Keith Kersey and daughter-in-law, Carol of Hephzibah, Ga.; her mother, Meloree Taylor of Augusta, Ga.; one brother, Sherman Taylor of Vidalia, Ga. and one grandchild, Brandon Keith Kersey of Hephzibah, Ga.. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2001, at the chapel of Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service in Vidalia, Ga., Rev. Alan Weaver officiating. The interment will be in Blocker Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, June 29, 2001, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service in Vidalia, Ga. DeLoach Funeral Home, Inc., Hephzibah, Ga. are in charge of local arrangements for the Kersey family.
