Mr. T.S. Morgan



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest June 26, 2001, at University Hospital, Mr. T.S. Morgan, 84, of Augusta, beloved husband of Mrs. Catherine Taylor Morgan. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2001, at Bethany Chapel with Mr. Jules Godin and Dr. Jonathan Reimer officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Additional survivors include one son, Dr. Toby S. Morgan of Rome, Ga; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Weeks of North Augusta; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Crouch of Augusta and Mrs. Alma Anthony of Winston-Salem, N.C.; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Derrig, Catherine Burns, Scott Post, Cathy Jo VanDette and Morgan Weeks; three great-grandchildren. A native of Johnson County, Ga., Mr. Morgan was a World War II Army Veteran. He had served as an Elder at Bethany Chapel for many years as well as having been commended in 1974 to full time gospel ministry by Bethany Chapel. T.S. Morgan was for many years the Bible teacher on the oldest Christian radio program in Augusta, Good News Bible Studies, sponsored by Bethany Chapel. Serving as pallbearers will be Rufus Belding, Mark Stephens, Henry Crees, Clarence Barinowski, Dick Machovec and Dr. Raymon Walters.
