Teams must be members of Angler's Choice in good standing. Non-members may join by enclosing an annual $25 membership fee per person with the $175 team entry fee, which includes the big fish pot. There is a one-time registration fee of $20 per person. Entry fee is $30. Regular tournaments are sponsored by Chuck's Lakeside Marine, Willoughby Ford of Thomson, Ga., Sportsman's Link of Martinez, Rick's Paint & Body of Martinez, White Columns Inn of Thomson and Augusta Marine Superstore. They will be held every Saturday from safe light until 3 p.m., until further notice out of Cherokee Ramp. Tournaments will not be held when dates conflict with Clark Hill Committee events. Anglers must fish a total of 6 tournaments to qualify for the SMOT Classic, which will pay a guaranteed $10,000 to the first-place team based on 30 boats.
