Mr. Harlow Dickey



Waynesboro, GA - Mr. Harlow H. Dickey, 54, of Greenbriar Lane, entered into rest Thursday, June 7, 2001, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2001, at Burke Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, with the Rev. William Turner officiating. Mr. Dickey, a native of Jenkins County, was a lifelong resident of Burke County and owner and operator of the Huddle House Restaurant in Waynesboro. He was an honor graduate of Waynesboro High School, an honor graduate of the University of Georgia and received a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He was formerly employed with the University of Georgia Department of Housing for many years and was in the restaurant business for the past twenty years. Mr. Dickey was a member of the Burke County Athletic Club. He was a Baptist and attended First Baptist Church in Waynesboro. Survivors include his mother, Blanche Aaron; and step-father, Morgan Aaron both of Waynesboro; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Johnny Jenkins, Wayne Cochran, Walton "Bud" North, Bill Evans, Greg Coursey and Thomas Ward. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday evening at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro, GA.
