NORFOLK, Va. - Rheba Abbot Frazier Shank, 81, died June 5, 2001, in Augusta, Ga. Born in Union Bridge, Md., she was the daughter of the late William D. and Lola D. Cartzendafner. She was a longtime resident of Norfolk, Va. and Kingsland, Texas, and was a member of Kingsland Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands Chester M. Frazier and William E. Shank and a brother Charles Cartzendafner. Survivors include five sons, George D. Frazier of Hampstead, Md., Chester Mark Frazier of Maple, N.C., James R. Frazier, Charles C. Frazier and Keith M. Frazier all of Norfolk, Va.; two daughters, Karen L. Morris of Belvedere, S.C. and Judith A. Wood of Norfolk, Va.; two stepsons, Thomas Shank and Harry Shank of Cedar Park, Texas; two sisters, Audrey Stitely and Mildred Higgs of Upperco, Md.; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, at Zion Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Todd Schlechty officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive chapel Friday, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
