NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Entered into rest June 5, 2001, at St. Joseph Hospital, Mr. Richard K. "Dickie" Cook, age 53, husband of Mrs. Carmen Hawkins Cook, of North Augusta. Additional survivors include father, Charlie "Boo" Cook; mother, the late Virginia Cook; sons, Richard K. Cook of Aiken, S.C. and Ronald C. Cook; daughter-in-law, Dr. Dana Hogan of Winder, S.C.; daughter, Regina M. Cook of Atlanta, Ga.; mother-in-law, Imelda M. Hawkins of Augusta, Ga.; Chad Moyer and Savannah Moyer of Warrenville, S.C. Mr. Cook was a loving father and husband. He retired from Southern Bell as an electronic technician after 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer and loved traveling, canoeing, and shell collecting at the beach. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2001, in the chapel of Platts Funeral Home at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tri Development Center of Aiken County, P.O.
