AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest May 31, 2001, at the residence, Mrs. Mildred B. Bowden of Kamel Dr. Family members are, a daughter, Charlotte B. Deloach; grandsons, Bill Deloach and Mike Spence; great-grandchildren, Haley, Ansley, and Chandler Spence. Mrs. Bowden was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and wife of the late John L. Bowden. She was born in Troy, Ala., but lived in Augusta most of her life. She was a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church and the Robert L. Taylor Sunday School Class, and she was a 60 year member of the Womens Auxillary of the United Transportation Union and she was a homemaker. Funeral services will be today, Saturday, June 2, 2001, at 4 p.m. at Poteet Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel with Rev. Bill Berry and Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
