Great editorial (May 4, "Door slams on public").
We can only hope King Roy and his "groupers" will see the big flaw. But, being a cynical citizen, it would make no difference if there were oversight.
I have seen no required accountability for huge deficits and mismanagement in the past at the Medical College of Georgia. Is the former MCG president, Dr. Francis Tedesco, being asked to refund the deficits he incurred? I doubt it.
It's time Georgians sewed up the purse strings as it's our bucks goin' down the rat hole. Who cares? Could be we need a whole new oversight system; the current one doesn't seem to be doing much.
