Teams must be members of Angler's Choice in good standing. Non-members may join by enclosing an annual $25 membership fee per person with the $175 team entry fee, which includes the big fish pot. Membership fees are due in January. Contestants should register in advance by mail; however, on-site registration will be held at 5:15 on tournament mornings until the last boat has launched at safe light.

Fourteen humanoids caught 53 bass weighing 123.7 pounds and all but one were released alive. Average weight per bass was 2.6 pounds.

There is a one-time registration fee of $20 per Person. Entry fee is $40. Regular tournaments are sponsored by Chuck's Lakeside Marine, Willoughby Ford of Thomson, Ga., Sportsman's Link of Martinez, Rick's Paint & Body of Martinez, White Columns Inn of Thomson and Augusta Marine Superstore. They will be held every Saturday from safe light until 3 p.m., until further notice out of Wildwood Park. Tournaments will not be held when dates conflict with Clark Hill Committee events. Anglers must fish a total of 10 tournaments to qualify for the SMOT Classic. Qualified teams will pay $150 to compete in the Classic, while non-qualifiers must pay $400.
