Mrs. Maxine Ernhart



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Maxine Ryg Ernhart of Augusta, Georgia entered into rest on Monday, April 30, 2001. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2001, from Elliott Sons Funeral Home Lumpkin Road Chapel with Pastor Mike Freed officiating. Mrs. Ernhart was born July 12, 1935, in Rake, Iowa to the late John and Randina Ryg. She made Augusta her home for 48 years. After 22 years of service, she retired from Homestead Draperies. Mrs. Ernhart was a member of the Lutheran Chruch of the Ascension. She was also a member of the CSRA Pool League and served as Secretary and Past President. She is survived by her son Allan Rollins of Augusta; her brother, Louis Ryg of Minneapolis, Minn.; her two grandsons, Jason Rollins and Michael Rollins. Pallbearers will be Jason Rollins, Michael Rollins, Davis Powell, Ralph Odum, David Collins, and Jerome Trapp. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be George (Cuz) Ferguson, Joe Murah and Merle Burkholder. The family will receive friends and family Thursday, May 3, 2001, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, Georgia 30904.
