Mr. Robert Rodman



AIKEN, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. Robert "Bob" G. Rodman were held Monday, April 30, 2001, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of George Funeral Home, Historic Downtown Chapel. The Reverend Leon C. Mozeliak Jr. officiated. Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Rodman, of Aiken, S.C., died Thursday afternoon, April 26, 2001, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Binghamton, N.Y., Mr. Rodman had lived in Augusta, Ga. before moving to Aiken, S.C., forty years ago. Mr. Rodman proudly served his country in The United States Navy during World War II. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and retired from Savannah River Plant as a senior buyer after thirty years of service. He was a member of Houndslake Country Club and the Senior Mens Golf Group. His wife, Marie Rodman; stepsons, David Wenn, Lake Placid, N.Y., and Andrew Wenn, Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Shirley Gillet, and her husband Robert Baron Gillet, Geneseo, Ill..; step grandson, Jacob Wenn, Lake Placid, N.Y.; three nephews, and many friends survive Mr. Rodman.
