Mrs. Lois Ivey



DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Lois B. Ivey, 80, widow of Mr. Lester L. Ivey of Dearing, died Sunday, April 29, 2001, in the Lake Crossing Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Dearing Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Mrs. Ivey, a native of McDuffie County, was a homemaker and had worked at Tracy-Luckey Co. in Harlem for many years. She was a member of Fort Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Darlene Van Diver, Wrens, Faye Holton, Hephzibah, and Kaye Wilson, Martinez; two sons, Jimmy Ivey and Wayne Ivey, both of Dearing; and 10 grandchildren, Michael Van Diver and Scott Van Diver, both of Wrens, Ken Ivey and Brock Ivey, both of Dearing, Clay Holton and Logan Holton, both of Hephzibah, Dustin Perdue, Martinez, Brian Trantham, Granada Hills, Calif., James Ivey, Blairsville, Ga., and Angela Knight, Hiawasee, Ga.; and four great-grandchildren, Kipp Ivey, January Knight, Michael Ray Knight Jr. and Jared Ivey. Pallbearers will be Alvin Hillman, James Key, Richard Gay, Alex Phillips, Wayne Perdue and Randy Chabot. Friends may call at the residence, Ellington Airline Road; or at the Curtis Funeral Home.
