James Bennett of Jackson, S.C., enjoys turkey hunting, but his son, Joel, is a more accomplished caller. The father-son duo teamed up during an Aiken County hunt last week, when James bagged a pair of gobblers a few seconds apart. The larger bird, which is being scored as a possible contender for South Carolina's record book, weighed 21 pounds; had three beards measuring 111/2 inches, 8 inches and seven inches; and spurs of 11/2 inches and one 1 1/4 inches. The second bird was an 18-pounder.
