Mrs. Avis Snider



MITCHELL, Ga. - Mrs. Avis Dye Snider, 73, of County Line Road., Mitchell, Ga. entered into rest April 26, 2001, at Doctors Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Marion Snider. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, at Mill Creek Baptist Cemetery with Dr. James C. Elder and Rev. Don Reeves officiating. Pallbearers will be Tommy Hanson, Clay Hanson, Paul Searcy, Tommy Phelps, Davis Nash, and Jimmy Williams. Mrs. Snider was a lifelong resident of Warren County and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Marion L. Snider, of Mitchell, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry M. Snider and Shelley Snider, of Mitchell, Ga.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Edith S. Smith and Marc Smith of Thompson, Ga., Kay S. Rachels and Freddy Rachels of Sparta, Ga.; a brother, Billie Dye of Gibson, Ga.; a sister, Betty Williams of Thompson, Ga.; four grandchildren, Tommy Hanson, Clay Hanson, Paul Searcy, and Amy Searcy; three great-grandchildren; two caregivers, Glenice Jackson and Rema Hampton.
