Mrs. Avis Snider



MITCHELL, Ga. - Mrs. Avid Dye Snider, 73, of County Line Road, Mitchell, Ga., entered into rest April 26, 2001, at Doctors Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Marion Snider. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mill Creek Baptist Cemetery with Dr. James C. Elder and Rev. Don reeves officiating. Pallbearers will be Tommy Hanson, Clay Hanson, Paul Searcy, Tommy Phelps, David Nash, and Jimmy Williams. Mrs. Snider was a lifelong resident of Warren County and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Marion L. Snider of Mitchell, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry M. Snider and Shelly Snider of Mitchell, Ga.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Edith S. Smith and Marc Smith of Thomson, Ga., and Kay S. Rachels and Freddy Rachels of Sparta, Ga.; a brother, Billy Dye of Gibson, Ga.; a sister, Betty Williams of Thomson, Ga.; four grandchildren, Tommy Hanson, Clay Hanson, Paul Searcy, Amy Searcy; three great-grandchildren; two caregivers, Glenice Jackson and Rema Hampton. Memorials may be made to Mill Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, Mitchell, GA 30820; or to the Alzheimers Association, 1899 Central Ave., Augusta, GA 30904-5755.
