WINDSOR - A woman is dead after an argument with her former common law husband ended violently Saturday when the man shot at her three times, striking her once in the neck, according to police.
Susie Summers Bookman, 37, of Oak Ridge Club Road, was rushed to the Medical College of Georgia Hospital where she died from her injuries shortly after the 1 p.m. shooting, said Lt. Michael Frank of the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
