PENSACOLA, Fla. - Bobby Ray Richardson, 51, of Pensacola, died Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at a local hospital. He was born in Augusta, Ga., and served his country for eight years in the US Navy. He drove long distance tractor trailers for over 18 years. He enjoyed his time at home fishing at Fort Pickens and being with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Patti Richardson of Pensacola, Fla.; mother, Evelyn Anderson; son, Bobby Ray Richardson; daughter, Patricia Gregory, all of Augusta, Ga.; daughter, Robbye Christine Luckie, daughter, Narissa Lin Gorbey, both of Pensacola; grandsons, Tyler Gregory and James Gregory, both of Augusta; uncles, Ray Thompson and J.B. Thompson, both of Augusta, Ga.; and father-in-law, Tom Fitzgerald of Pensacola. The funeral cortege will leave Harper-Morris at 9 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2001, for graveside services at 9:30 a.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery with the Rev. David Lang, pastor of Midway First Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The Augusta Chronicle-April 22, 2001
