Odom ties for individual lead, Georgia holds team advantage



SEA ISLAND, Ga. -- Georgia's Bryant Odom shot 67 on Friday in the first round of the Southeastern Conference Men's Golf Championships, leading the Bulldogs to a 10-shot lead at the Sea Island Golf Club Seaside Course.

Odom is tied with Mississippi's Andrew Medley for the individual lead. Defending conference champ Georgia shot a five-under 275, with Florida next at 285.

Georgia's David Miller had a 68 and is third.

Tennessee is third in the team competition, four shots behind the Gators.
