AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor, wife of the late Ernest Taylor, of 15th Avenue, Augusta, Ga., died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 7, 2001, at 3 p.m. from First Providence Baptist Church. Interment will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. The remains will lie in state at the church from 2 p.m. until the hour of service. The funeral procession will leave the residence at 2:30 p.m. Florist: noon. Survivors include four daughters, Annie Mae Perkins, Ella Mae (Willard) Young, Eloise Taylor and Alberta Miller, all of Augusta, Ga.; five sons, James Taylor, Johnny (Evelyn) Taylor, Robert Taylor, Leroy (Leona) Taylor and William Taylor, all of Augusta, Ga.; two brothers, Jerry Cannon, North Augusta, S.C., and Sam Cannon, Augusta, Ga.; 27 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
