Retired Tracy Luckey Company HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. Earnest Edward Miles, 83, of 1095 County Line Road died Friday, April 6, 2001, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Mount Tabor Baptist Church, Harlem, with the Revs. Eddie Renew and L. J. Newsome officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Miles, a native of McDuffie County, was a farmer and had retired from the Tracy Luckey Company. He was a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Edna Miles. Survivors include son: Glenwood Broglin; daughter-in-law, Sallye Thompson Broglin of Rocky Mount, N.C.; daughter Shirley Ryals, Dearing; brother, Clifford Miles; three sisters, Ida Mae Gay and Myrtle Morris of Harlem, and Eva Mae Williams, Dearing; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Rd., Augusta, GA. Pallbearers will be Homer Gay, Randy Frost, Gary Williams, Ray Miles, Richard Miles, Julian Miles, Jerry McPeek and Derrell Welch.
