Mrs. Mildred Clark



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Mildred McKittrick Clark, 82, of Augusta, died Friday, March 23, 2001, at Forest Lake Manor. Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 25, 2001, at 3 p.m. at West View Cemetery with the Revs. Donald Welch and Robert Reynolds officiating. A native of Register, Ga., Mrs. Clark was a retired switchboard operator for the Augusta Police Department. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joyce C. Frink of Augusta; daughters-in-law, Mrs. Verrell M. Clark of Washington, N.C., and Mrs. Lynda W. Clark of Evans; six grandchildren, Thomas M. Bargeron Jr., Vicki D. Bargeron, Phillip C. Bargeron, Lisa C. Tate, Jennifer C. Tetterton and Keith B. Clark; four great-grandchildren, Jessica M. Bargeron, Amanda L. Bargeron, Sara Tate and Kate Tate. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Herbert L. Clark Sr.; two sons, Mr. Herbert L. Clark Jr. and Mr. Larry C. Clark and one granddaughter, Shannon Clark. If so desired, memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 1305 Troupe St., Augusta, GA 30904. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday (tonight).
