Raptors blitz Hawks

TORONTO - Keon Clark had an NBA season-high 12 blocked shots and Alvin Williams recorded his first career triple-double as the Toronto Raptors beat the Atlanta Hawks 112-86 Friday night.

The previous high for blocks in an NBA game this season was nine, done five times. Elmore Smith of the Los Angeles Lakers holds the NBA single-game record with 17 blocked shots against Portland on Oct. 28, 1973.

Clark, who had 10 blocks in the first half, broke Marcus Camby's franchise record of 11 blocks. Acquired in a trade from Denver on Jan. 12, Clark also had 13 points and eight rebounds.

Williams had 11 points, a career-high 14 assists and 10 rebounds.

The Hawks, who shot 33 percent from the field, have lost eight straight road games and 14 of 17 overall.

Six Raptors reached double figures. Vince Carter scored 26, Morris Peterson 19 and Charles Oakley and Antonio Davis each had 10.

Murray's jumper gave Toronto a 40-point lead with 8:41 remaining.
