AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, March 15, 2001, at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Ret Sgt. Maj. Cecil M. Wright of 4414 Elk Grove Trail. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at 1 p.m. at the Belle Terrace Presbyterian Church with Rev. Melvin Lowry officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. He was a native of Palatka, Florida, retired from the U.S. Marines as a Sgt. Major. He was a JROTC Instructor at Cross Creek High School. Survivors are his wife, Phyllis Wright; two daughters, Belinda (Anthony) Harrison, Augusta, Shakeera Wright, Offutt Air Force Base, Omaha, Neb.; three sons, Cornelius (Debra) Wright, Austell, Ga., Barry Wright, Seoul, South Korea, Steven Wright, Augusta; mother, Rozzie Feaster, East Orange, N.J.; three sisters, Glennett (Ben) Dasher, Palatka, Fla., Lavern Wright, Gainesville, Fla., Regina (Michael) Henderson, Tampa, Fla.; three brothers, Kenneth (Eutiria) Wright, Jacksonville, Fla., Courtney (Henrietta) Wright, Germantown, Md., Terrence Wright, Jacksonville, Fla. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or blood donations to the Shepeard Community Blood Center.
