Mr. Wallace Seawright Jr.



SALLEY, S.C.- Mr. Wallace Seawright Jr., of 320 Hunter Branch Road, died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at University Hospital, Augusta. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Baughmanville Baptist Church, Wagener, with the Rev. Johnnie Bussey, Assisting-Rev.Eugene Guyton and Rev. Eddie Burton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Seawright, a native of Wagener, was the son of the late Wallace and Armenia Wooden Seawright Sr. He was a graduate of A.L. Corbitt High School and was a dorman at Graniteville Textile Mill. He was an Army veteran and a former member of South Carolina National Guard. He was a member of Baughmanville Baptist Church, where he was a member of trustee board. Survivors include his wife, Corlean Ginyard Seawright, Wagener; three sons, Keith Tyrell Seawright, Kelvin Sentirrell Seawright and Kendall Lowell Seawright, all of Wagener; eight sisters, Barbara Garvin, Catherine Garvin, Corine Leaphart, Armenia Wright, Alice Corley, Dorothy Seawright, all of Wagener, S.C., Cheryl Curry, Orangeburg, S.C., and Annette Patterson, Blackville, S.C.; six brothers, Arthur Seawright, Chicago, Ill., Robert Seawright, Ronnie Seawright, Gregory Seawright, all of Columbia, S.C., Willie Seawright, Artis Seawright, both of Wagener. Friends may call at the residence. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home. The Augusta Chronicle-March 20, 2001
