Mrs. Fannie Cato



THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Fannie M. Cato, age 85, wife of the late J.P. Cato, 1917 Kitchens Rd., Thomson, Ga. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 20th, 3 p.m., at Faith Baptist Church, with the Rev. Don Widner officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Mrs. Cato was a native of Glascock Co. but had made her home in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Louise Hampton and Mrs. Sylvia Knopsnyder, both of Thomson; four sons, Mr. Edward Cato and Otis Richards, both of Washington, Mr. Paul Cato, Laurel Hill, Fla., and Mr. Tommy Cato, Thomson; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Meadows, Thomson; a brother, Mr. Roy Chalker, Thomson; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Dairen Cato, Roy Cato, David Cato, Jeff Brown, Mike Cato, Sam Franklin, Jimmy Turner, Pete Chalker. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons at Faith Baptist Church.
