CLEMSON, S.C. -- Three Clemson players will transfer to other schools next year, coach Larry Shyatt says.
Pasha Bains, Dustin Braddick and Chucky Gilmore will all be released, Shyatt said.
Bains and Braddick both played this season, while Gilmore sat out after injuring his knee in August.
Bains started the season with 20-point games against Hartford and Florida Atlantic. But after starting 12 games in the first half of the season, Bains' minutes started to wane.
The sophomore guard from British Columbia, who transferred to Clemson from Wyoming, averaged 4.9 points a game this season and made a team-leading 40.6 percent of his 3-pointers (28-of-69).
Braddick played in all but one game this season, after lettering the season before. The junior guard from Charleston averaged 4.4 points and 4.2 rebounds a game in 2000-01.
Gilmore sat out this season after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament during an individual workout in August. The junior forward from Fayetteville, N.C., played in 23 of 27 games in 1999-2000, averaging 3.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.
