Mrs. Lillian Hercus



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Lillian Davidson Hercus, 93, of Augusta, wife of the late Mr. James Hercus, died Thursday, March 8, 2001, at Doctors Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday March 12, 2001, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Timothy Owings and Dr. Rodger Murchison officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Survivors include one stepson, Terry Hercus, and wife Lorraine of Winnipeg, Canada;daughter-in-law Yvonne Hercus of Toronto, Canada, two sisters, Alma Davidson Hatcher of Evans and Ruby Davidson Brown of Augusta. A native of Columbia County, Mrs. Hercus was a long time area resident and had retired from Ft. Gordon as a training manual writer at the military police school. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the Republican National Convention.
