Mr. William "Bill" Brown, 68, of Tate Road, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at his residence.
Graveside services with full military honors will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Clarence Moore officiating.
Mr. Brown, a native of Swainsboro, had retired as a chief warrant officer from the Army and as a lieutenant from the Richmond County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of American Legion Post 505, Stolkin Temple 22 New Era Lodge and New Holt Baptist Church, Harlem, where he was a deacon.
Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Gray, Augusta.
Friends may call at the residence or at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
