Mr. Wayne Scarboro



NEW ELLENTON - Mr. Wayne Allen Scarboro, 46, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at George Funeral Home, Whiskey Road, Aiken, with the Rev. David Lester officiating. Burial will be in Talatha Baptist Church Cemetery, Aiken.

Mr. Scarboro, a native of Blount, Tenn., was a former employee of Aamco Polymers and was a millwright and welder at Austin Industries. He was a member of North Aiken Baptist Church, Aiken.

Survivors include a daughter, Christina Skye Scarboro, Augusta; a stepson, Robbie Peacock, Augusta; his mother and stepfather, Margaret and Harmon Lowe, Aiken; and a brother, Barry Lowe, Aiken.

Pallbearers will be Benny Matlock, Terry Hair, Ron McKenzie, Michael Matlock, Harold Wilson and Randy Wilson.

Memorials may be made to Helping Hands or to Disabled American Veterans.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the residence of Dorothy H. Martin, 2182 Williston Road, Aiken; and from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
