Mrs. Alma Carter



WARNER ROBINS, Ga. - Mrs. Alma Riner Carter, 88, of Willow Avenue, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at Sumter Regional Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins with the Revs. Stephen Webb, Ben Williams and Craig Rickard officiating. Burial will be in Piney Mount Methodist Church Cemetery, Wrightsville.

Mrs. Carter, a native of Johnson County, was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, where she was a member of United Methodist Women.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Carter; two sons, Johnnie Pat Carter, Thomson, and Russell Carter, Inglewood, Colo.; two daughters, Mary Carter Smith, Warner Robins, and Judy Carter Smith, Cochran; three brothers, Edward Riner, Savannah, Ralph Riner, Statesboro, and Maurice Riner, Ocilla; a sister, Ruby Miller, East Dublin; and 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
