Mrs. Lucille Gordon



EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Mrs. Lucille McCullough Gordon, 46, of Bluebird Street, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Republican Grove Baptist Church with George McCullough and the Rev. Willie Patten officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Gordon, a native of Edgefield County, was a van driver and a member of Republican Grove Baptist Church.

The family said: "Lucille was full of laughter and excitement. When she entered the room, her warm presence was felt. She was dearly loved and will be truly missed."

Survivors include a son, Joshua Gordon, Edgefield; her mother, Aftallean McCullough, Edgefield; three brothers, Jimmy L. McCullough, Augusta, Daniel McCullough, Edgefield, and George McCullough, Los Angeles; and six sisters, Catherine McCullough, Mary McCullough, Rose McCullough, Henrietta McCullough and Evelyn McCullough, all of Edgefield, and Loretta Sherman, Augusta.

Pallbearers will be Clinton Sherman, Jasper Moore, James Sherman, Charlie Upson, Marion Talbert and Bob Upson.

Friends may call at the residence or at Amos and Sons Funeral Home, Johnston.
