I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and I have a lot of respect for the American flag because of the brave men who died for it. I am Southern to the core and the Confederate flag is my flag.
The Confederate flag makes my heart race and the blood course through my veins. The Yankees won the war and I realize I have to submit to their flag, which is not a whole lot different from the one Gen. William T. Sherman flew as he ravaged the South on his march to the sea.
Having said that, I appeal to the Ku Klux Klan and the Aryan Nation to display only the American flag at all future rallies. Since the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People was so successful in having the Confederate flag abolished, I can only hope they will be equally successful in having the Yankee flag abolished.
