Mr. Benjamin Snyder Jr.



Mr. Benjamin R. Snyder Jr., 80, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Father P. James Costigan officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Westover Memorial Park.

Mr. Snyder, a native of Edwardsville, Pa., was an Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars and had retired as a health care administrator from Veterans Administration. He was a member of Retired Officers of Georgia, Retired Officers Association, Retired Officers Golf Association and St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Benjamin R. Snyder III, Augusta; a daughter, Sandra I. Hauser, Vista, Calif.; five brothers, Bruce Snyder, Feasterville, Pa., Anthony Snyder, Colorado Springs, Colo., Ralph Snyder, Fall Church, Va., Edward Snyder, Gouldsboro, Pa., and Frank Snyder, Edison, N.J.; two sisters, Irene Mackey, Edison, and Mary Nita, Pringle, Pa.; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Poteet Funeral Home, Wheeler Road.
