Mrs. Josephine Phillips

WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Josephine Phillips, of Blakeney Street, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at University Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Burial will be in Pines Cemetery.

Mrs. Phillips, a native of Burke County, had retired as a paraprofessional and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include two sons, Marvin Phillips and Ronald Phillips, both of Augusta; three daughters, Barbara A. Patterson, Mae Dorothy Phillips and Lorraine Phillips, all of Waynesboro; a brother, Robert Massenburg, Miami; and three sisters, Beulah Williams, Waynesboro, and Shirley M. Hill and Kris Massenburg, both of Miami.

The family will receive friends at the residence or at Carter's Mortuary.
