Mr. Wyman Nobles



SAVANNAH - Mr. Wyman Eugene Nobles, 78, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at Memorial Health University Hospital.

Graveside services with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.

Mr. Nobles, a native of Aiken County, had retired from Georgia Pacific Corp. after 12 years and from the Air Force after 12 years and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars, during which he received the Commendation Ribbon for meritorious service. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Roxie Riner Nobles; three sons, Nicky Nobles, Texas, Terry Nobles Sr., Savannah, and Randy Nobles, Florida; two sisters, Ineze Nobles Miller, Columbia, Tenn., and Montine Edwards, Augusta; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Temple Building Fund.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Memorial Drive.
