SARDIS, Ga. - Mr. J.K. Brantley, 90, of Georgia Highway 24, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at University Hospital, Augusta.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Wayne Dixon and Bill King officiating.
Mr. Brantley, a native of Washington County, had retired as a self-employed businessman and was a member of Alexander Masonic Lodge 385 and Sardis Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Roman Brantley, Jasper, Ala.; two daughters, Jeanette Glisson, Sardis, and Betty Jean Mallard, Girard; and seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild
Pallbearers will be Tommy Mallard, Bob Mallard, Brantley Mallard, Rusty Mallard, Brad Elliott and Josh Chandler.
