C.T. Miller's Jan. 18 letter hit the nail on the head. I don't know how Mr. Miller found out that Gov. Roy Barnes made a secret deal with Jesse Jackson to get our flag changed. That must be some secret deal made with Mr. Jackson.
Gov. Barnes has refused to listen to the good people of Georgia on the flag issue. He and the others who voted for the change had their sneaky ways of doing it.
To me it looks like Gov. Barnes sold us out to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
I hope all who voted for the flag change will pack up and move out. I think every one who loves the (former) state flag will boycott all sports in Georgia and everything else.
If anyone asks me about Georgia and the flag, I will tell them to talk to the NAACP, Gov. Barnes or Mr. Jackson. They run Georgia now, but we can keep the flag flying for the Confederate boys who died for it.
