JOHNSTON, S.C. - Mr. Ganzie Lee Bussey, 80, of Robin Drive, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Revs. Ernest Gordon and Harry Raiford officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Buss, a native of Edgefield County, was an Army veteran of World War II and had retired as a farmer. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Lizzie Mathis, Johnston, Thelma Gary, Batesburg, and Cynthia Morrison, Englewood, N.J.; four brothers, Grover Bussey, Ridge Spring, Clarence Bussey, Monetta, Howard Bussey, Washington, D.C., and Clyde Bussey, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Pearl Bussey, Johnston, and Dorothy Kenner, New York; and 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
