Mr. Earl Kenneth Hawn, 68, of Rivercrest Road, Martinez, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Poteet Funeral Home, Wheeler Road, Augusta, with the Rev. Glenn Ethridge officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown.
Mr. Hawn, a native of Mott, N.D., had retired as a sergeant first class from the Army after 26 years and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, and had also retired as a maintenance supervisor from Augusta Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Dorn Hawn; three daughters, Sam H. Walton, Teresa H. Bass and Karen H. Arnett, all of Martinez; three brothers, John Hawn and Gene Hawn, both of Mott, and Lawrence Hawn, Roy, Wash.; eight sisters, Alice Olsen and Arlene McMasters, both of Lewiston, Ind., Marjorie Sparlund, New England, N.D., Rose Schmidts, Mott, Peggy Bolte, Regent, N.D., Sadie Hewson, Alamo, N.D., Darlene Mundlin, Post Falls, Ind., and Joan Hintz, Bentlet, N.D.; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny Posey, Ed Stewart, Ken Lyons, Joey Cadle, Jeff Kline and Gary Walton.
