FAIRFAX, S.C. - Mr. Arthur Lee Hay, 50, of Union Avenue, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2001, at Allendale County Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Thankful Baptist Church, Martin, with the Rev. W.H. Burison and Carolyn Rutledge officiating. Burial will be in Furse Mill Cemetery, Millett.
Mr. Hay, a native of Allendale County, was an employee of the South Carolina Department of Transportation and a member of Thankful Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lizzie Thompson Hay; a son, Timothy Robinson, Barnwell; two daughters, Tykeshia Gray, Fairfax, and Tina Mance, Lakeland, Fla.; a stepson, Robert Lee Thompson, Fairfax; three brothers, Willie Hay, Indiantown, Fla., David Smith, Charlotte, N.C., and Herman L. Rainey, Hampton; six sisters, Ruby Durham and Lula Sanders, both of Pahokee, Fla., Elaine B. Hay, Miami, Gussie Washington, Hampton, Elnora Marshall, Jacksonville, Fla., and Mae Robinson, Allendale; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Cave Funeral Service, Allendale.
