Mrs. Arleine Hobbs Gillam, 84, of Pine Street, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, at University Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Good Hope Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny R. Hatney officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
Mrs. Gillam, a native of Glascock County, had retired from the board of education and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Wallace Gillam, Augusta, Earl Gillam, Brunswick, and Terry Gillam, Chicago; two daughters, Ernestine G. Tate, Fredericksburg, Va., and Vera G. Holloway, Augusta; a brother, Flay Hobbs, Augusta; and 30 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Leslie Gillam, Michael Robinson, Carl Russaw, Asia Lindsay, Willie Robinson and John Brard.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
