BARNWELL, S.C. - Mrs. Louise Vaughan Mazursky, 85, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital, Greenwood.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Morris Lent officiating.
Mrs. Mazursky, a native of Fredricks Hall, Va., had retired as an English teacher and had taught at Furman College, Mars Hill College, Batesburg-Leesville High School and Barnwell High School. She taught Sunday school at Barnwell County Nursing Home and was a nationally accredited horticulture judge. She was a charter member of Cherokee Garden Club and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Barnwell First Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include a son, Barnette Lee Mazursky, Barnwell; two daughters, Vaughan Mazursky and Beryl Barlow, both of Charleston, S.C.; and a sister, Paula G. Vaughan, Greenville.
