Mr. Willie "Bill" Hendrix, 83, of Sir Galahad Drive, Evans, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Platt's Funeral Home, North Belair Road, Evans, with the Rev. Larry Gilpin officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta.
Mr. Hendrix, a native of Thomson, was an Air Force veteran of World War II and had retired as an electrician from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 1579 and was a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Martinez.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Hendrix; three daughters, Anne Freeman, Douglasville, Deborah Hendrix Cooper, Evans, and Mary Jane Ellis, Martinez; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tripp Haywood, Sam Castile, Gary Mullen, Blake Wood, Nick Mosca and David Sanders.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Clarence Clark Sunday School Class of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
