WORDEN, Mont. - Mr. George T. "Tommy" Barton Jr., 52, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, in Billings.
Funeral services were private. Burial will be in Oak Harbor, Wash.
Mr. Barton, a native of Chicago, was a Navy retiree and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a salesperson for Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and a former member of Marks Baptist Church.
The family said, "Mr. Barton was predeceased by his son, Cristopher Barton of Oak Harbor, Wash., and he was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County."
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Barton; a daughter, Cora Barton, Oak Harbor; his parents, George T. Sr. and Gehl Barton, Augusta; a brother, Russell Barton, Bethel, Conn.; a sister, Linda Bodnar, Martinez; and a grandchild.
