Mrs. Doris Permar



AIKEN - Mrs. Doris M. Permar, 78, of Sandhurst Place, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church of Aiken with Dr. William R. Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Lower Brandywine Cemetery, Centreville, Del.

Mrs. Permar, a native of Ames, Iowa, was a homemaker and member of P.E.O. Sisterhood. She was a former writer for The Augusta Chronicle and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Aiken.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip H. Permar; two daughters, Margaret Permar Ose, Haddonfield, N.J., and Marilyn Permar Heurer, Evans; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the residence.
