WADLEY, Ga. - Mrs. Loraine Jones, 85, of Martin Luther King Drive, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at Glendale Nursing Home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Solomon Temple Baptist Church, Moxley, with the Rev. John Harmon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Jones, a native of Washington County, was a homemaker and a member of Order of the Eastern Star Daughters of Wadley Chapter 485, Fair and Honest Society and Solomon Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Tommy L. Jones, Savannah, and Eugene Jones Sr. and Bobby Jones, both of Wadley; three daughters, Lillie T. Harrison, Mount Vernon, N.Y., Marie Scott, Pompano Beach, Fla., and Jeanette Jones, Wadley; and 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons and trustees of Solomon Temple Baptist Church.
Friends may call at the residence of Jeanette Jones, 111 Martin Luther King Blvd.
Garrer Funeral Home, Louisville, is in charge of arrangements.
